Communications
CASE is well known for its expertise in communications and its economists have been involved in regulatory and competition investigations in all areas of the communications sector. We have assisted operators to respond to regulators and competition authorities, assisted counsel in legal proceedings, and helped develop strategies for management.

CASE economists have assisted a large number of fixed, mobile and cable operators on a range of competition issues arising out of regulatory investigations regarding competitive abuses, pricing and cost analysis, price squeeze allegations, predation, access regulation, and other regulatory issues.

CASE economists have represented clients and made submissions to the European Commission (DG Infosoc and DG Comp), as well as National Regulatory Authorities including Ofcom (UK), ComReg (Ireland), OPTA (Netherlands), BIPT (Belgium), RTR (Austria), FICORA (Finland), BnetzA (Germany), AGCOM (Italy), OFTA (Hong Kong), Commerce Commission (New Zealand), the BTRC (Bangladesh), ATRA (Afghanistan) and the ACA and ABA (Australia).
