Cento Veljanovski was an expert on behalf of six airlines defending an action by the New Zealand Commerce Commisison in the High Court in Auckland for alleged price fixing. The proceeding was the first of two to determine the nature of the market for air cargo services, namely whether inbound cargo services were markets in New Zealand under the Commerce Act 1986. The economic evidence was given using the hot tub procedure extending over five days and involving five economists during May 2011.
